Graphic Design & Multimedia Communications

The Graphic Design and Multimedia degree prepares students for the emerging field of New Media. Students create projects such as logos, poster designs, short films/3D animated films, websites, and interactive design experiences. Classes are hands-on and build towards a final interactive portfolio. This concentration also has an IT core which allows for web development and programming skills to be developed. Students get hands-on experience developing real-world projects. Core classes include Graphic Design and Imaging, Web Design and Scripting, Intro to Multimedia, Sound Design, Video Art and Web Broadcasting, Animation and Motion Graphics, Advanced Multimedia, and Intro to Digital Gaming.

 

Information Technology

This degree program provides the interested student an opportunity to gain a broad experience in all aspects of business while providing an additional focus on the application of information technology to sovling business needs. Students interested in IT management, project management, systems analysis and design, information systems development, business modeling, and the like will find this major quite suitable and helpful. Also, students who want to start their own IT company or consulting business will find this degree program an excellent choice.

 

Web Development

The world wide web has grown so fast since it was created, that it effects so many parts of our lives. Businesses use it to communicate with each other, sell products to customers, and so much more. This specialization prepares students for being the bridge between businesses or individual people and the internet. Students learn various web technologies used for creating web sites and internet programs. Students also learn to design images and multimedia content, as well as e-commerce items such as secure sites.

 

E-Commerce

E-Commerce specialization allows a student to move into the fast paced environment of e-Business/E-Commerce. The momvment of goods and services today depends on the ability to quickly and efficiently move resources from one place to another. Global pressures on cost require a world view of the material and resource availability and immediate recognition of requirements. E-Commerce addresses this environment through an understanding of business and a specialization in the E-Commerce that drives the global enterprise.

 

Digital Multimedia Communications

The BBA in Multimedia Communication fuses together a strong core of business classes and multimedia courses. Students experience the application of business principles while implementing the leading technologies in New Media. Presentations, project management, and management are facilitated through this unique combination of courses.

 

Specialized Computing

Many universities only offer specific programs that train for only a few employment positions in the IT world. TICIT provides this specialization to allow students to choose classes that are relevant to their plans for where they will work. You may choose which classes to take based on your plans for where you will work in the variety of jobs available in the IT world.
